  Before taking nitazoxanide tablets, consult your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or immune system issues. This medication is commonly used to treat diarrhea caused by Giardia. Take it with food for better absorption. Possible side effects include nausea, headache, stomach pain, or discoloration of urine. Inform your doctor about any other medications or supplements you’re taking to avoid interactions. Not recommended for children under one year. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use it only if necessary. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve to prevent resistance or recurrence of infection.
